Hey Ryan, how would you structure the diet if one were working out first thing in the morning within an hour of waking up?

I do that regularly and have honey or maple syrup pre-workout. Around 100-150 calories.

This doesn’t sound sustainable, but may work short term. Working out almost fasted and black coffee on an empty stomach has been proven to be a bad idea. Also, no carbs before bed can allow your glucose stores to run out during the night and cause your body to run on stress mode.
